Techcanvass Performance Monitor is an internal reporting tool built and operated by Techcanvass. It brings together traffic, search, video, and content-performance data from the platforms Techcanvass already uses, so the team can see how its websites and content are performing in one place. This page explains what data the tool collects, why, and how it's handled — for every third-party account it connects to, including Google (YouTube) and LinkedIn.

Who this applies to

This tool is used internally by Techcanvass employees and its founder for the company's own reporting. It is not a public-facing product, is not offered to external customers, and does not collect data from visitors to Techcanvass's websites beyond the aggregate, already-anonymized analytics each platform below provides.

What data we collect and why

We connect to the following third-party platforms, using each platform's own official API under the account owner's authorization:

• Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console — aggregate traffic, session, and organic search performance data for techcanvass.com, businessanalyst.techcanvass.com, and productink.org, used to report on website and content performance.
• YouTube (YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API) — read-only access to the Techcanvass YouTube channel's own data, via the youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly scopes, used to retrieve channel and video performance metrics (such as views, watch time, and engagement) for internal reporting. The app only reads this data — it never modifies, uploads, or deletes anything on the channel, and does not access any Google data beyond these two scopes.
• LinkedIn (Member Post Analytics) — post-level performance metrics (such as impressions, reactions, comments, reshares, saves, link clicks, and follower growth) for LinkedIn posts published by an authorized Techcanvass team member's own account, used to report on that individual's content performance. This does not include private messages, connections, or any other member's data — only analytics for posts the authorizing member has themselves published, retrieved via LinkedIn's official Member Post Analytics API under that member's own consent.

How the data is used

All data collected is used strictly for internal performance reporting and analysis by Techcanvass — for example, tracking which content drives traffic, views, or engagement, and informing the team's own content and marketing decisions. It is not used for advertising, profiling of third parties, or any purpose beyond Techcanvass's own internal reporting, and it is not shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party.

How the data is stored and protected

Data is stored in a private database on a server Techcanvass operates and controls. Access to the tool requires an authenticated Techcanvass account, and access to each module is further restricted to the employees who need it for their role. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with any third party.

Data retention and deletion

Data is retained for as long as it's useful for internal reporting. Any authorized member who has connected their YouTube or LinkedIn account may request that their data be deleted, or may revoke this tool's access at any time from their own Google or LinkedIn account settings — doing so stops any further data collection immediately.

Third-party terms

Our use of each platform's data is governed by that platform's own API terms, including the LinkedIn Marketing API Terms and Google's API Services User Data Policy (which also governs our use of the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API). We comply with each platform's applicable terms and restrictions.

Changes to this policy

If how this tool collects or uses data changes materially, this page will be updated accordingly, with the "Last updated" date above reflecting the most recent revision.
